The parliamentarians and speakers praised the life of Guru Gobind Singh and his embodied values that help define India and her aspirations as well as the world today. Gobind Singh. The valiant history of the Sikh Gurus and the martyrs who shed their blood and laid down their precious lives as a great sacrifice at the altar of India is written in golden letters in the annals of history of the world.
Messages from HM The Queen, Lord Bourne – Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department for Communities and Local Government, Nitish Kumar – Bihar Chief Minister were read by Amarjeet S Bhamra. Counsellor D P Singh from the Indian High Commission in London was also present.
