BWY has funded research at Northumbria University on the effects of Yoga on lower back pain. Ms Sahota from the West London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) exemplified her group’s engagement with British Wheel of Yoga, who are supporting yoga trials in their CCG. Suki Kalirai, Chairman Skills Active, who are setting standards on Yoga sponsored by BWY on good practice that the public can understand, for occupational health and all aspects of therapeutic physical activity.
