APPG Indian Traditional Sciences supported Ayurveda Day 2017 in The Netherlands. Ayurveda Day aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of this ancient Indian Science and its treatments regime. Ayurveda is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India five thousand year ago. The word Ayurveda derives from Sanskrit and means wisdom of life. Today it is practiced around the world and continues to grow in popularity and is recognised by the World Health Organization.
